For one person, the published Desktop base is $2,388 per year before applicable taxes and overages, but that buys a managed automated testing workflow, not just a screenshot editor. Do not equate one SnapDiff A/B workflow with one Percy screenshot: Percy counts each browser and responsive-width rendering separately.
Try SnapDiff alongside Percy without migrating baselines
Keep Percy for automated release checks and use SnapDiff for an exploratory issue outside the suite. Capture the expected page, reproduce the issue in another tab, capture the actual state, and export an annotated comparison. SnapDiff does not import Percy baselines, synchronize approvals, or send results back to Percy.
Match viewport dimensions, zoom, and relevant page state for a meaningful pixel comparison. Dynamic text, timestamps, and animation can produce differences that need human judgment; a highlighted pixel is not automatically a defect.
